Can anyone help on my problems? Im trying to hook up a Profec B to my 87' TII and was wondering if I hook it up to the wastegate and the nipple on the intercooler right above the wastegate? And does anyone know if I need that piece on top of the intake manifold with a hose out of the intercooler and one going to the manifold. Do I need it?

Has anyone ever had the problem with a vacumn leak and your car idles with 9-10psi vacumn, and the car likes to stall, and when WOT it stumbles and hesitates? Has anyone ever had that problem?

You're using the stock turbo, right? I know that with the Profec A the smallest nipple goes to a vacuum source. It's easiest to use the same source that the pressure sensor sees. Of the remaining 2 one goes to the wastegate and the other goes to the little nipple sticking out of the compressor outlet of the turbo. It should be a similar setup for the Profec B.

You could have a vacuum leak somewhere, 9-10 inches of vacuum is very little. See if you have one first before continuing.

turborotor is right should be pulling more like 15" of vacuum unless you have one helluva port https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/devil.gif

No its still stock port, and where should I check for where most of the leaks are?

Usually at the turbo where the turbo inlet duct mets the compressor.

Take a spray bottle with water or choke cleaner and spray around joints and vacumm hoses, becareful where you spray with that, is flammable.

Would that cause the car to lean out at WOT and go full rich just normal driving? And when driving and decellerating the gauge off the scale on the lean side. And the car hesitates all the way through the rpms no mater where I give WOT.

If it leans out at WOT then you need more fuel. Under deceleration the motor isn't getting any fuel. That's why the gauge doesn't show anything. The hesitation problem could be alot of things, even a TPS problem.
