I put in a little less than 16 ounces of Xcel 2 stroke in the tank It says that it is good for injection and pre-mixing Is this stuff any good or should I use some other brand?

all you need is a tcw3 oil

thats the rating of the oil.. you will see it on the quart somewhere.. usually on the front....

im not sure if it is since the bottel is in the car and im up stairs but what if it is not?

tcw3 is safe for fuel injection. I use premix of 1 oz per gallon of gas. I have my OMP diabled, actually used block off plates and plug the injector lines.

Damn!! You guys are mixing in a lot of oil. What ratio are you shooting for 60:1?? I was instructed by pettit racing to mix 4oz per tankful of their Protek premix. 6oz when I am racing.



When I used Amsoil premix I did the same. When I tried to run 8oz per tankful I was fouling plugs and my car was breaking up real bad at high RPM's.

16oz its a lot!, like jim said 4/6 oz its ok for me



what ratio most people use?

the 2 stroke oil i put in says meets tcw standard I guess it is alright car still runs fine 1/4 tank later feels smoother and puls hard like ****. Next time I will get the good stuff.

4oz for a full tank is enought for street driving, I double it when i go to the track when the engine is going rev high all day.

Is it possible that having way too rich pre-mix mixture could cause a freshly built large streetport s4 turbo motor (stock injectors) to not idle? i.e. too much oil, not enough fuel? Seriously, I think I've got something around a 200:1 ratio in the tank, lol. with 8 gal of gas and 16 oz of oil you have a 64:1 ratio. Fill the tank with gas.
