Hey All,

I am looking at a 1990 NA FC and was wondering what the right questions to ask the seller would be when I talk to him on the phone. So far I have decided that who did the rebuild, who did the regular maintenence are big questions, but what else should I be asking?

Also, if taken care of will this car be reliable enough for a daily driver?

Ask is it was a full rebuild using all new parts or just pieces out of spec. If he claims regular maintenance on his car ask for proof. I bought my 85 GS from the original owner and he gave me years of documented proof from the dealer.

Does it smoke at startup? Any leaks? (coolant, oil, rear diff, radiator, ps) Does he use the car for a daily driver or just weekend use?

A few to to start with anyway, good luck.
