I'm going to describe my problem, and if you could tell me whether or not it's a vaccum problem would be great.
Alright, first of all, my high end power is pretty bad. It seems like the longer it's up there, the worse the power gets (like in higher gears, even second). Also, when it's warming up, it seems to "stumble" a lot. It's not about to stall or anything, but it doesn't idle very smoothly. There are lots of semi-backfires. It just has little pops of exhaust. The reason I'm thinking that it could be a vacuum leak is because problems show up when it's cold (rubber doesn't seal as well when cold) and because it seems to lose power at higher rpm when the vacuum would be greater. |
i think the idling problem is the tps, its probably out of adjustment.
the high end power could be a couple of things, how old are the fuel/air filters? it also could be that your 6 ports arent opening mike |
the 6 ports are opening for sure.
It idles fine and is perfect once it warms up. I just bought a new air filter, don't know about the fuel one though. I'll have to call the guy I bought it from and see. |
ok i think you cold idle problem is the tps, its a classic symptom
