Antifreeze is also used to prevent corrosion. I think you might have crap growing in your cooling system if you did that. :-/

So, what if I ran 90% distilled, 10% antifreeze? Anyone done that?

Dex-cool or their equivalents have shown that when mixed with normal prestone ethylene glycol with have a weird effect, it causes the mixture to coagulate (little blobs of crud) in the cooling system, Unless you flush the complete system of all the old green, the orange will cause problems down the road as the stuff clogs the radiator and heater core (this ussually shows up in the heater core first and exposes its problem as the drivers begin using defroster and heat in the fall months) As far as the chemical compatibility with the coolant seals on a rotary, I am not sure.

I run 80/20 year round and its fine.. more water is better but you still need some antifreeze
