That is what I have heard the most people dont put them in properly and they end up spinning inside the sleeve doing zero good.

When I installed mine, I called and asked (this was before I heard of any problems), they said to scuff up the end of the sleeve, and the bottom of the insert, and use red loctite. I did, and when I removed them many miles later, they were right where I left them. Pineapple now says to dimple the end of the sleeve where it meets the insert, so it can't slide anywhere. |
makes sense, I though people were saying they were spinning inside there....
|
I just got mine in the mail. Yup, supposed to dimple the sleeve, and loctite the insert to the sleeve.
