Kinda empty in there but will look better once the TMIC, fan and shroud are gone.

Here you can see my Dual pod with Apexi boost gauge and auto meter A/F. Under the radio is a custom gauge thingy i built with water temp, oil temp and oil pressure. I mounted my S-AFC where the ash tray used to be.

Looks like you got yourself a straight ride there. Good job. I'm not a big fan of the low profile tires though but looks nice nevertheless.

Racer X 02-10-2004 09:39 PM

Nice.Looks like revvins car.

j9fd3s 02-10-2004 09:43 PM

Im not a fan of the lowprofile tires either, but they are toyo t1s and came on the rims with good tread for $450 so cant beat that. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png thanks for the compliments

4RotorRocket 02-10-2004 10:17 PM

haha yup.

Add it to the garage feature up top.

Redwood 02-11-2004 01:02 AM

I've said it before...elsewhere, but it couldn't hurt to say that I still like it.

What's that sticker on the back, can't really make it out?

Good work

Benny 02-11-2004 01:07 AM

FiKsE l2X SeVeN Jr 02-11-2004 01:07 AM

Its not CF just flat black https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png the car was origionaly N/A and that was the only TII hood I could find. With the shape its in its not worth my time to paint it so it stays till i find some thing better https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png

sidewinderx7 02-11-2004 12:08 PM

whats wrong?! its a beautiful hood! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

mazdadrifter 02-11-2004 12:12 PM

man you guys are picky!! i think it looks great, and it just so happens that i have a flat black hood on my n/a!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

i like low profile tires as long as there is still a little meat around the rim, and the overall diameter hasn't changed. and/or it's been lowered to compensate

sweet ride!

Jims5543 02-11-2004 12:13 PM

Sweet like tits!!!

Nice conversion. One suggestion. Keep the fan shroud and belt fan its the best way to go.

The car looks super clean. Nice job.

sidewinderx7 02-11-2004 12:17 PM

that shroud and fan belt take up too much room though... makes it look kinda ugly https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png

I'd prefer a fuctional fully capable cooling system over the typical HACK E-fan install. 95% of the E-FAN install are F@#%^@#$^@ hack jobs that are nowhere near as efficient as the stock system it replaced.

sidewinderx7 02-11-2004 02:18 PM

yikes! very passionate about you mechanical fan arent you! :-p

i just hate how big the fan shroud is and how ugly it is. I have it on mine right now because i dont want to trust an electrical fan. If i can find a good electrical fan with a little shroud, i would be happy https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I'm going back to the stock shroud and fan too since my hack job is suspect. I dont care how ugly the shroud is.

Nice car by the way!

Dramon_Killer 02-11-2004 07:12 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif nice work did you do the swap yourself? looks sweet.

sidewinderx7 02-12-2004 03:23 AM

lol... that swap took alot of nights! It was pretty much done by himself, with odd job help from a couple people. iluvmy88 did some stuff with it for awhile when it was having some electrical problems. He had nothing better to do anyways! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png i guess he could have driven around with me and gotten some tickets with me!

but im happy all 3 of us *SHOULD* have out cars all running around here by this spring. So that means, me, ecko, iluvmy88, phins, isuma, who am i missing? anyways... we'll all have running cars at the same time! *crosses fingers* this has never happend before!

Yup most of the work was done by me on jack stands https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blush.png But if it wasnt for luvmy88cabrio, sidewinder and my friend Shane it would have taken me alot longer to figure some things out. Kraig was a huge help with electrical and helping get rid of all the junk i dont need! lol https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif Yeah it will be awsome if all of our cars run at the same time!!! we will have to have some mini meets and autoX days https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

4RotorRocket 02-12-2004 02:39 PM
