it's an '88 vert.... 160k on the chassis... engine was swapped out with a low milage engine a year or so ago by someone who misdiagnosed a problem on it... and the car has sat ever since. Usual problems, drivers seat is worn and the top has 2 tears in it. has a few minor plastic peices on the interior that are broken, and the radiator has pin hole in it. I'm fixing that tommorrow. Did verts have fixed or retracting antenaes? The one from this one is missing.... but there is a threaded piece sticking up like one should attach to it.

verts had a retractable antenna... and mine has one in the windshield as well for some odd reason.



Mine actually works, but I hate the radio, so I disconnected it when i got the XM in.

all fc;s have the window attenas EXCEPT for uber base models.

body is PERFECT.. except for one spot on the drivers door where a child shot it w/ a BB gun... has a cheap paint job on it though. Thinking about scuffing it over good and respraying it.

is it a V6?

V8 w/ an I4 welded to the crank actually.

You can't weld that stuff like that to the block!

Well, mine's bigger.

I'm guessing the two tears in the top are on the bottom, right by where it goes down inside the rear fenders to the drain tubes.... mine had matching tears on each side.



the antennaes are homosexual and enjoy getting stuck inside themselves. Mine croaked way before I got it. It was about half way up, but I put an aftermarket fixed antennae on it with a signal amp. problem solved.

Awesome. My FC had a power antenna and it was a base model. Nice ride Shannon.

nah... I was just the first in this "series" of people getting black verts... I've had mine for about a year and a half...

mine is just a temporary one for me though... gonna sell it whenever i go back to the desert... god damned thing is WAYYY too slow.
