foopy 12-08-2002 08:45 PM

nice, you gonna get a matchin one for the passenger side? was the install hard, i was thinkin of doing that too.

btw, wut da hell happened to you door? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

1Revvin7 12-08-2002 09:08 PM

he just took off the carpet, thats on all cars stock, that moisture lock plastic dealy. Did u have to put in new rails too? how did that go?

cymfc3s 12-08-2002 09:13 PM

its a recaro "speed". It comes with its own rails. You have to buy an adapter bracket too. I might get one for the passenger side later on. They are pretty pricey. Around 600.

1Revvin7 12-08-2002 09:27 PM

damn, but nice as hell! i want those

7mech 12-08-2002 10:26 PM

vosko 12-09-2002 01:27 AM

Rob x-7 12-09-2002 11:19 AM

$600 isnt that bad!

Looks nice.

norotor_nomotor 12-09-2002 11:22 AM

nice seats... what other companies are there that make nice good quality racing seats... i mean other than sparco and recaro

Grizzly 12-09-2002 11:59 AM

CYMFC3S, Would you recomend them for the T2?

I've been undecided which way to go ither Recaro's or Corbeau Targa's, i have been told the Recaros are a bit wide and catch the Trans Tunnel?

Did you use the stock slider or use Recaro's own?

Thanks.

cymfc3s 12-09-2002 12:09 PM

i used the recaro sliders, they fit great. I like them because i fit much better in them than the corbeau's. They are much lighter than the sparco torinos too.

Grizzly 12-09-2002 01:26 PM

Do they feel ok in the car? (you are not looking over the dash or no head room?)

Chris

i am gonna have the same predicament in a few months when i get my turbo 2 running.

i wanted to do seats... i was looking at the ReAmemiya or the sparco torino

j9fd3s 12-09-2002 02:04 PM

i had the torinos in my fc, and heres my opinion of them.

they hold you in well with out being hard to get in and out of.

they have little lower back support, anything over 20minutes they werent very comfortable

they were about twice as heavy as the stock t2 seats, and the stock seats arent the lightest things in the world
