The A/R on the turbo is 1.02. I also used Judge Ito's template and brand new seals and rebuild obviously. Like I say, the GXL can be the test mule while I build the RX2 to handle the power, I can swap the motor and tranny in about 2.5 hours changing the pickup, front cover and pan and such, so maybe that is what I will do when it comes to going to the races. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif Hope you guys like it, I have about a years work into it, and within the next couple of months or less, it will be finished. --Shawn
My own design. It consists of a racing beat flange, 2 in diameter, about 18 inch long 304 stainless pipes totally divided, with a homemade turbo flange, 3/4 inch thick. The wastegate piping is 1.5 inch. Thanks for all of the comments guys. For the RX2, the look I am going to go for is a back halved, lowered alcohol burning chevy. The last summit catalog with the impala is a good example. I was going to keep the RX2 looking stock, but that is what the GXL is for, the RX2 is just badass. It is gutted except for the dash, I have to finish the cage, has buckets and an air to water intercooler will sit behind the passenger seat. Stay tuned, it's because of a lot of you guys that I sink all this money into my cars. Thanks for looking, Shawn |
I really like that manifold. You did an awesome job on that
Thanks I only designed it. I had someone else weld it. I didn't want to mess it up with all that I had into it. |
keeping that old school charm with the carb, cool

Cool! I like the choice of color of the block. Looks good!

if you warp the flanges, you doing something so right

i like the alternator belt tensioner thing, never seen that, at least i dont think, nifty way to avoiding the alternator slipping down that track and getting loose.
