tial 38mm wastegate on stock s4 turbo manifold routed to 3" RB SS Downpipe
twin scroll removed downpipe and turbo manifold are both ceramic coated, downpipe is being re-coated in black.....lol d'oh! irons are streetported w/ no increased overlap to pass emissions ports are teflon coated, plates have a oil-retention (i think) coating All coatings and turbo work done by elliot white from www.turblown.net Engine was ported and will be built by glen weaver from www.azrotaryrockets.com Both are personal friends of mine from arizona and I'm lucky to have such good friends that can do such awesome work on my car. Can't wait to get my car together and running. Engine should be together very early january i think. Rotors are currently being clearanced. Need to have the rotating assembly balanced after that. -Ben Martin https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif |

yeah, stock cast iron s4 turbo manifold w/ a hole punched into it and some SS piping welded on w/ a tial 38mm flange on the end.
thanks 'teve |
thats some quality ****, looks like you handled pritty much everything to =) What kinda power/boost is gonna be running through this work of art?
|
wastegate spring is 8.5psi. I plan for about 12psi max on pump.
Think I'm gonna do waterinjection just to remove some of the heat from the air as I don't feel totally comfy w/ ethyl or meth. If I do run some form of alky, it'll be 50/50 water/meth but im pretty sure ill just do water I'm only aiming for 300rwhp. I wanted something similar to my friends FDs that I've driven that still ran sequentials w/ a few boltons. I want to keep it emissions legal still. Doing Manual conversion on the PS rack for the better steering feel and hate of power steering. But a big part is to make changing plugs a lot easier. Keeping A/C. Well, have to recharge it too lol. |
well it looks like a finely laid out setup, and im sure you could push more then 300 if so you chose. But, ya, I'm pritty sure your wallet book is hurt enough, i know mine would be https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif
Well, good luck and happy boosting https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/bowdown.gif |

Yeah, I'm just saying 300rwhp was my original goal. I'm thinking that goal will be pretty easy to reach and surpass.
And if you guys like my ports. Check out the customers ride section of their website. Very sexy motor pics. http://www.azrotaryrockets.com/customer_cars.html |

how muchh for that? i like to keep the stock look If you already have all the parts( manifold/dp/turbine housing) its $500 if you want it rerouted back into the downpipe. Coatings are additional $$$. |
