ok my pulsation damper is and has been leaking, i just wanna fix it.

what can i do besides just buy a whole new s5 rail (since s5s are one-piece)

someone mentioned usnig an 87-88t2 rail tapped to fit a marren fuel pd bla bla bla.

would it be safe to just not have a PD?

if i put an aftermarket fpr would it rid the need for a PD, if so which FPR should i go for?

Ive seen arguements against not running a PD but never seen it actually come true.

In theory, running without a PD can allow pulses to build up in the rail and at certain times, resonance could propagate inside the rail ( and fuel lines ) potentially causing them to rupture or inhibit good fuel delilvery to the injector.

If youre maxing things out, Id say use it.

If its just a regular old car, Id say it doesnt matter too much.

With whats in your sig, I would run some type of PD. Almost every EFI car has one. All the egnineers in the world cant be wrong, eh?

i eliminated my pd on my n/a after going through 2 of them by putting the "mickey mouse" setup on it. i had no problems with it for 1k miles after. i agree with adam.

Kevin, I have a stock s5 fuel rail here if you need it, just let me know, I'll hook a brother up.
