ok got some parts here that came with my car in a box wondering whate xactly they are:

FA07-43-820, from mazda, described as "flex hose". Looks like a brake hose but not sure which corner it's for specifically, hopefully the part # tells this.

FB01-45-291A, from mazda, described as "Joint, Pipe" i'm thinking maybe this is the "abs eliminator" piece it has three threaded holes that will fit a brake line, and one unthreaded hole i guess for mounting or something.

0603-26-161, just kidding, these are lug nuts https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

thanks,

kevin.

the extra pipe is like a rear disc brake line. Simply to bridge your rear brake line. The T is just that a T line in from the master cylinder & two line out for front left & right brakes. It's ghettto!

I had brake lines leak because you have to bend the damn things to make them line up to go into the block. In the end I cut and reflaired my lines moving them around a little. When you eliminate them with the block the lines sit where the ABS used to be but now it's just a spiderweb of lines that are in your way still.

oke. In the ABS you have Two Lines that go in from the Master cylinder and then three lines that go out. The two lines from the Master cylinder is basically one for the front brakes and one line for the rear brakes. In the ABS pump you'll have three lines. One line runs to the rear brakes and the other two lines run to either front wheel. The 3 port hub is for the front lines. The hose that comes in the kit is for the rear lines to connect those two lines making them a direct run from the master cylinder to the rear brakes where it must Y for either rear wheel. Does that make sense? I suck at explaining things I'm to much of a visual person.

well see here's what i understood:

ABS has two lines going into it from master brake cylinder, 3 lines then come out of it.

Two lines going into it is 1) for the front brakes and 1) for the rear brakes.

Now the three lines coming from the ABS unit has one for each front wheel (2 lines total for front) and one line goes to the rear brakes.

The 3 port block (Joint, Pipe) is used for the front lines.

The hose (FA07-blah-blah) is to connect the line coming from the master cylinder to the line from the abs unit for the rear brakes, where it then Y's into seperate lines for each rear wheel.

is that what i was supposed to get out of it?

yup that's about right.

or i could just pull out the Mazdatrix invoice and be like here are the instructions they gave me.

"There's one line coming from the master cylinder marked R. And one line coming out of hte ABS pump going to the Rear. Connect these two with the hose. There is one coming from master cylinder marked F, and two coming from the ABS pump to the front wheels connect these three with the T"

my invoice numbers =

1 Brake Line "T" 45-291A-FB01

1 Brake line rear drum 43-8200-FA07
