My CAR IS TOTALED!!!!!!!!!! I WAS PULLING OUT OF my court and hit a big f-150. I NEED FRONT BODY PARTS BAD AND CHEAP IF ALL POSIBLE PLEASE HELP ME (i'm crying) this car was my baby... my way to get out and because i was a stupid teenager it could possible be gone

MazdaEnthused 09-29-2003 05:30 PM

i was soooo proud of it ... it was my way to get away from everything that was happening around me.... just driiiiiiiivvvvee....... but not anymore....

Dumbrotorkid 09-29-2003 05:32 PM

damn im sorry.ive been in my share of accidents so i know what its like

bruce 09-29-2003 05:33 PM

Ok, heres one of many possibilities, Use the insurance that you have and let them total it out. Afterwards buy it back and get a parts donor car and fix it or get another RX7 and swap the parts.

Or, start hitting the junk yards, most 7's are sitting in the yards simply because of blown apex seals. I have seen at least 20 rx7's in junk yards between ohio and north carolina. If you keep this car realize that you don't just need parts, you'll need a frame shope, someone to check out the suspension, and then the body work begins.

Sorry to here about your misfortune, I had to let go of my 1970 BRONCO because it was recked. I spent three years into the restoration so I can sympathize with you.

MazdaEnthused 09-29-2003 05:45 PM

well see if the frame is bent then.... i'm going keep the motor and the good stuff and put it into another blown t2... or just part it out and buy another car.... (rx7 of coarse)

bruce 09-29-2003 06:00 PM

like I said check with your insurance and see how much they will sell the car to you for, you may either want to down play the amount of work you've put into it monetarily to decrease the cost of recked car, or make it look as good as possible before the adjuster gets there. [B]Here is some good advice, get all your receipts for the parts and services that you've purchased since you bought the car, you will need them.

rotarychainsaw 09-29-2003 06:11 PM

Sell me the drivetrain SUPER SUPER cheap. I'll be your friend. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Sucks about the crash though. It happens to the best of us.

MazdaEnthused 09-29-2003 06:27 PM

no full coverage

7mech 09-29-2003 06:35 PM

Go to www.teamfc3s.org and look in the forsale section for a member named Indyparts. His real name is Rick Hawley and he haslike 4 87-88 TII parts cars that he is selling parts off of. He's selling me my parts for my 90 TII.

vosko 09-29-2003 06:41 PM

sucks i am there right now only my car has slightly more time and money invested in it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

MazdaEnthused 09-29-2003 06:55 PM

well i've got alot of time and alot of money into it as well.... its my baby... it was seriously a place to go and get away... and if i can fix it moderatly cheap then i will fix it otherwise anyone want a good T2 motor with 64.5k on it????

Rotorn00b 09-29-2003 07:10 PM

damn dude i'm sorry, i wrecked a freshly swapped SR20 90 240sx i was gonna start workin on.... i know where ur at, but i discovered the 7 afterwards so i guess things worked out for the better.... i'm sorry though

pengaru 09-29-2003 07:14 PM

I'll buy the powertrain if the price is reasonable.

I have another idea for you though, the silver t2 chassis in sevas garage, I don't think there are any plans for it other than strip and bring to junk yard. You should talk to him and see if you two can work out a deal, we can probably help you with fixing it.

ZenRXSeven 09-29-2003 08:20 PM

This is exactly how I felt when I blew my motor (especially because I had let it overheat in a dumb teenager sort of fashion). I was completely lost. Now, three months later, my new Pineapple streetport should be arriving this week, and soon my car will be up and running once again.

Let me tell you, it's been very, very hard to be TII-less for the past three months, but soon she'll be back on the road and stronger than ever. You'll have a running TII again, in not too long, and everything about it will be better than it was before. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

MazdaEnthused 09-29-2003 08:30 PM

yea ... well if i can get these parts from a couple of guyz i'm talking to cheap then i'm just gonna see if i can replace them and we will be good.... if not then i'm not sure what i'm going to do if i have frame damage then i will talk to seva, peng... thank you all for your help and support... this really sucks

1Revvin7 09-29-2003 08:31 PM

Everyone pays their price in the end, not only I, but a few others were like; this lucky bastard got a t2 for that cheap?? WTF IS GOING On?..

Still sucks though.

Jims5543 09-29-2003 08:33 PM

Hmmmm... 87 Base in back bay of my office front clip in great shape. Free if you can figure out how to get it to you.

What do you need?? I was going to junk this car the entire outside in complete.

I have to put my son to bed right now. I'll check back in about 1/2 an hour.

MazdaEnthused 09-29-2003 08:39 PM

will an 87 base fit on my t2? if so find out how much shiping is and i can hook you up with a tip you guyz really are amazing (ALL OF YOU)

Jims5543 09-29-2003 08:51 PM

I know where there is a TII hood for $150. What else do you need? I have fenders headlight assy.'s bumper etc...

MazdaEnthused 09-29-2003 08:57 PM

well the shiping from florida will suck... headlight ass. fenders and bumper yea... just give me a price and a round about for shiping

FCmaniac 09-29-2003 11:37 PM

damn, sorry to hear it man.. at least you only paid $365. I had a car stolen and never recovered with $4k in mods and barely got enough back to pay off the car loan so I know how much it sucks.

NOt sure if this helps, but I bought an RE-A bumper so I have the healight assembly, BoMex bumper up for grabs.... just a thought

Jims5543 09-30-2003 12:25 PM

If you want these parts I can get them together and find the cheapest way to ship them. Off the car and on the floor they are not that heavy just bulky. Give me a couple of days to get this together and I'll shoot you the price of shipping. Parts are free like I said.

Sorry about the accident dude. Hopefully this will work out o.k.

MazdaEnthused 09-30-2003 12:38 PM
