Ok i talked to the guy at the rx7.com store, other than being very rude they were pretty helpful. Anyways, the dude told me that no one makes springs that will work for the convertible. He said that because it takes the same springs as the other models the spring makers say they will work. But since the convertible is about 600 pounds more it would ride on the ground. I personally dont think that would help my cornering very much! Anyway, does anyone know about this?? Let me know. Thanks

The convertible is only about 200-300 pounds heavier than a coupe. As long as you use good stiff springs you won't bottom out. The Suspension Techniques springs are what I use--$160 from J.C. whitney. Another option would be to go with coilovers.

They'll also work, but they're a little softer. I'm not sure if they'll bottom out.

You can use springs for a TII The TIIs weigh a little bit more than a NA coupe.

I checked out those jc whitneys. They are 160 for the set. 80 for the front and 80 for the back.
