Hey guys.

The Oil Pressure sensor has only 1 Connector on its top.. but there is a second 1-wire Female Connector in the same wiring loom.. i wonder what it is for? i have nothing plugged in to it. i made a mistake and wired it to ground.. well, my Oil-Pressure gauge went below 0 and stays there now LOL, good that i have a second gauge cluster.

I have been told, that a condenso may be attached to this connector, and placed to the clutch slave cylinder.. is that right?? and if so.. why? what does the condensor do?

I have a condensor attached to my Trailing coil, i dont know if its right up there or not. are there 2 condensors? one for trailing coil and one for the pressure gauge? i have only one since the rebuild.

please help me out.

thanks!

yeah factory there is a condensor by the clutch slave, i think they give the spec for it in the fsm, its nothing really special its just there

well..

until yet, i had only a condensor at the trailing coil-screw, which was attached to a 1-pin connecter down under the trailing coil, the connector at the Pressure sensor unit was unplugged. I took this condensor and plugged it to it. My Watertemp gauge shoots to HI, and stays there, no matter what temperetare the engine has.

My Power FC tells me "normal" readings.. but there is something weird too.. since the condensor ist unplugged from the trailing coil, my watertemp. which is beeing read off the power FC, is higher.

Before, i had 80° during cruise, and max. 84 if i shut down the engine.

But now its somelike 85° during cruise, and it goes up to 90° if i shut down the engine.

I have the FSM, and wiring diagaramm, which i found on the net, but i dont find anything to this https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.gif

THIS, is how it on my car right now, and how it was the last year.

this is the mysterious connector to me, its wire goes to the same place in the wiring-loom, as i plugged the connector to mass, it destroyed my oil-p-gauge lol

yesterday, i unplugged the condensor at the trailing-coil, like seen here:

https://farm3.static.flickr.com/2405...88b546ea_o.jpg

and plugged it to the connector near oil-p sensor, also i changed the Oil-P gauge. Started the engine, and the Oil-P gauge works very fine... but my Water-Temp gauge shot to the highest point possible as the engine got warmed up.

whats should i do?

there are Two connectors Down by the Oil Filter pedestal..One is for the Oil pressure sender..the other is for the Coolant Temp sender..so I think you haven't got One hooked up..you should be able to See them Clearly If you take the oil filter off..(but make sure the car is NOT running!).
