Morning,, just tightened up a new transmission on my series five to find the oil pressure sender was between the bell housing and the engine woops ,,anyhow i cleaned it all up and rewired it but its a no go , does anyone know if ive done the sender or the gauge in dash? thought id ask before i go rippen things apart ,Thanks..

If you want to test your gauge in the dash, use a 100-ohm resistor connected between the sender plug and ground, it should indicate about 110 psi. Use a 200-ohm resistor in the same way and it should indicate about 30 psi. :director:
