When I removed my oilpan during the rebuild (in-progress) some of the bolts had washers while others didnt, and some of the bolts were slightly different than others (some were threaded all the way to the end, some had the last mm or so smaller diameter with no threads). Is this normal? I did not notice much of a pattern to the bolts with washers, perhaps the previous owner had the pan off. Any input would be appreciated, I'd like to do it correctly when I put it back together.

No, none of the bolts are supposed to have washers. They all should be those little 10mm bolts.

they are short 6mm bolts with no washers and they have a non thraded thing at the end. there is 22 of them.
