ok question, i blocked off my oil metering pump cuz i didnt wanna deal with replacing my metering lines. i know im gonna need to run an oil/gas mix in the tank, but what oil am i supposed to use? 2 stroke cycle gas? and whats the mixture ratio? help me out here

TCW3 2-cycle oil, 1 oz. per gallon.

That's what the semi-general consensus, of course there are many other opinions and theories.

The TCW-3 grade is essential. Don't just use 2-cycle oil made for weed whackers. The TCW-3 stuff is made to be run through fuel injection systems. If you can't find it anywhere, just try your local boat store. A lot of boat engines run the stuff.

I've run a few different makes/brands, but the key is the ratio. 100:1 minimum....

I think anything more than 100:1 is excessive. I always ran 128:1 (1 oz per gallon), and the inside of my engine looked brand new after 20k miles.
