ok something is leaking and causing a smoky condition under the hood. It looks like oil but i havent dug into it.

It forms puddles of oil under the UIM i guess puddling on the LIM.

anything thats right there that commonly sprouts a leak? i dont think it's a big leak but any leak = teh bad leak. Also when i take off the UIM will i need to buy new gaskets? can i use silicone gasket maker **** that i used for the bac?

i also found my missing tps adjustment bolt and spring just chillin there, gonna have to grab that soon https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

What does the smoke smell like? Dont use silicone/rtv on a pressuruzed intake.

ok im now thinking it may be either an injector leaking or one of the fuel rails leaking as it seems the leak is concentrated towards the front of the engine on the bottom rail with the injector closest to the front. havent seen the back yet (too busy to rip off UIM right now, looks lie another saturday project) but its got a lot of fluid chilling there.

the thing is tho i dont think it looks like fuel its much darker thats why i though oil right away.

i changed my oil saturday o ill check the levels on it tomorrow to see if i am indeed leaking oil somewhere.

i had the same problem when I started cranking a bunch of boost.....

what happened with my car was the grommet at the top of the injector had become hard and cracked into pieces spilling gas out of the fuel rail. If it is close to the front of the motor I'd say that's exactley what happened. Under stock boost they hold up fine, but that extra pressure cracks them.

if it is oil then it's the oil injector that plumbs right into the block, in which case you need to replace that line or convert to premix. Either way you should probably start adding premix to the gas because your front rotor isn't getting the lubrication it needs.

i think it may be the top of injector problem cause the one injector is basically clean because the fluid has leaked on it directly constantly, while the others look dirty.
