it looks pointless. The stock oil filter location on the fc is the best location i've ever seen a filter located. My old 88 MX-6 was a bitch, it was located behind the block next to the exhuast pipe.

You really shouldn't be spilling any oil anyways. Just drain the oil before removing the filter, and at most you should get a drip or 2 while removing the filter.

and use your ******* space bar.

the trick is to puncture the oil filter with a screw driver while the oil is draining out of the pain. But just simply draining oil before you remove the filter makes it less messy.

oil change? I thought it was supposed to burn through 5 quarts in 2000 miles, I just keep adding oil!

FikseRxSeven 03-23-2005 07:55 PM

GreyGT-C 03-23-2005 09:06 PM

I would consider the racing beat dual oil filter relocation kit had I not bought 24 mazda oil filters.

I have about 12 left so i won't be doing anything until i use up my supply

remove the fill cap as well, lets it drain a little faster https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
