Not to be confused with the thermo pellet for the eccentric shaft. I'm talking about the thermo switch above the bottom bolt, of the oil cooler.
I'm not sure if these ever fail, but it is one more thing that could go wrong, so I'm thinking about bypassing.....the bypass https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif If anyone has any info I'd love to hear it!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683246.gif |
ive never seen one be bad, the oil would take forever to warm up without it, maybe on a race car this is ok

do not remove it
remove = bang |
yeah, i figured the switch was "normally closed" so i didn't mess with it. I wonder if there is a way to "wire" it open all the time. I doubt I'm going to mess with it.
It is nice to have that option tho, florida is awesome |
