Thumbs up

There are three strut bars for the FC. Upper front, lower front, and rear. I currently have an upper front strut bar, like I think 90% of everyone else here. My question is about the other two bars, the lower front and the rear.

Does anyone have these installed? Are there noticable improvements with them? Does the rear bar require alot of cutting to install? Who makes them besides Cusco, and where are the best places to purchase them.

Thanks.

I have the Corksport rear bar. It requires cutting through the metal rear speaker/shock towers. Its hard to say how much it helped the cars handling since I installed it the same time I did my shocks and springs. I did see one on ebay that looks like it doesnt require cutting. Its a 4 point bar that you would drill and connect two points to the floor and the other two to the side of the rear speaker towers. Attaching it that way doesnt seem like it would be as rigid though since the metal on the towers is so thin.

I have a custom CNC machined rear strut brace that I had made, I could tell a difference. I could get a pic if anyone is intereted. I am ordering a CUSCO front bar this week, I hear they are the best.

Are you ordering the Cusco front upper or lower? I have the CS upper which is junk and I'm anxious to add the Cusco lower... maybe I'll get the upper too.

Aight. I have a pic on lane_change's computer, I will have him email it to me tonight, or just post it for me. It was raw aluminum when I started, when I was done I painted it anodized(?) blue. Had the brackets made(welded up some brackets) painted em black, and also anodized the bolts/nuts blue. Now that I have teased you more I will shut up, and get the picture.
