Does the power steering in a 2nd gen have a condenser? I took the lines and pump out (about 30 Lbs) but i am working on getting pretty much everything i DONT need off or out of my car.

Any idea how heavy our front and rear bumper reinforcments are? I would like to dump those as well.

My goal : 200 HP/2300 lbs.

I'm a little curious there, too. I could go look as well, but I didn't feel like tracing it down since it ran behind a metal plate behind the headlight. Would that be the same condenser used for the A/C? Took that off, too. Like U, I wanna get rid of anything I possibly can. Man, that P/S--A/C assembly weighs like 100 lbs.!!! How did U plug your banjo fittings? U don't want dirt and trash to get in there. For now, I've wrapped mine in electrical tape around the orifices and put the bolts back in.

There's no condensor for the PS.. not sure why there would be one. The PS lines do run in front of the AC condensor for cooling though. Pull all that out up front.

on a street car i would leave the bumper reinforcements in, that way if you hit something, or somethign hits you the cars not fooked. 2300lbs should be no problem for an na

200HP @ 2300lbs...not bad....should be pretty quick. yea...be sure to get out as much weight as possible up front, and personally..i feel the rear of these cars NEED some weight....

My weight to power ratio goal is 415hp @ 2450lbs.

why does the rear of our cars 'need' weight?

How much do those damn bumper reinforcements weigh! anyone know.

Any idea how i can get my car on a scale to find out how heavy/light she is?

I'm guessing it has to be something like 2500 (without me) by now. I have removed alot including getting a light exhaust and all the crap i dont need in the engine bay. PLus i want Fiberglass fenders and i'm trying to find an aluminum hood. damn their hard to find!
