Ok, well i have a N/A and i need more speed... i havent done anything to it yet but i am planning on it, i was wondering if Nos would work?? Or would the shot be to much????? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

1Revvin7 02-09-2003 10:12 PM

what size shot? 50-75 is the common setup. Yes some nitro would give you a nice little boost, just make sure you have don't ALL the maintence on it first.

ROTARYROCKET7 02-09-2003 10:31 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif yeah u can use the nitrous to help spool up the turbo quicker. if you have turbo. hey if nos is illegal how come so many people on the street got em?

CrazyAssRX7 02-10-2003 07:30 AM

he just said he has an N/A...

nos isnt that good for a t2

better used for the n/a's

Geoffman72 02-10-2003 07:45 AM

You do realize there are other nitrous manufacturers out there? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

rxpower 02-10-2003 07:56 AM

I've said it time and time again and I herd it on here

"babies are bottle fed real men get blown"

But I know not everyone has the $$ to go turbo. Nirous is relativly cheap

and is just a push button away. Just start saving up for new engine. cause

you'll soon need it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

hahah

ROTARYROCKET7 02-10-2003 09:45 AM

yeah nitrous oxide will destroy the mechanics of ure engine. i think turbo is muchbetter cauze its always there. as long as its spooled properly nah mean.

Apex13B 02-10-2003 08:26 PM

venom and zex are soo much more complete and user friendly than any NOS system

rphilly 02-10-2003 09:29 PM

I wouldn't go around saying that.Nitrous isn't that risky if you have the fuel mods to support a good shot of it.It's like a turbo system.Your tuning it makes the engine live or die. It's all about tuning.Just like a turbo.Just run a good grade gas when your using the nitrous.

CrazyAssRX7 02-11-2003 01:38 PM

Friend has nos in his 89 n/a and im planinng on getting a 75 shot

He has a 50 shot and his engine is just fine, but then again the tunning is importatnt, he also has bigger injectors like me with a bigger fuel pump also.

Just as long as everything is tuned right its no biggy.

Just dont go around spraying everytime time you see a honda https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

Geoffman72 02-11-2003 03:13 PM

You'll blow the welds on your intake and your floor will fall off!

rphilly9449 02-11-2003 04:16 PM

hahaha yah just like the movie, right.......so how much do u guys think im looking at? with the injectors and fuel pump?

1Revvin7 02-11-2003 04:44 PM

probably wouldn't need bigger injecotrs if your shot is 75 or less, just a bigger fuel pump, walbro runs around $120.

I admit I exagerated a lil bit with that coment but

you do have to be more careful than a piston engine

with Nitrous.

"now me and the mad scientist here have to take apart the

block and replace the piston rings you fried"

DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER TO MANIFOLD!

CrazyAssRX7 02-13-2003 01:03 PM

haaaa

funny ****

walbro fuel pump goes on ebay for under 100 and bigger injectors would be nicer though

but like 1revvin7 said its not neccesary

but more gas equals more power
