Whats the normal operating temperature for a stock t 2??? Im just curious since im going to look at one on the weekend.

on the stock gauge it should be between 1/4 and 1/3rd, or between 180-200f, 85-95c

89-91 sit at half way

87-88 sit at 1/4

89-91 temp guages are a joke. The guage will mark half way any where from 140F to almost toast. I have seen the temp up to 220 and the guage stays in the middle.

Are you sure your temp sensor wasn't just screwed up?

i think the 89-91's have a centering thing like the fd's do. the pre-88's dont, the early ones are accurate to about a needle width, or 2c. yet another reason s4 is better https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
