ok, so the fuel pump is brand new and i can hear it running (inline walbro 255). and i can actually hear the fuel running through the lines on the motor. also, i can see the fuel pumping back into the fuel cell. its in my trunk. so i know the fuel is getting through to everywhere... i swapped the primary injectors because i thought this was the problem. i "checked" them to see if they worked by putting a 12v source to one prong on the injector and grounding the other. i heard them click. so i figured they were good.

if my injectors are fine, and im getting fuel is puming just fine to everywere, what else could it be?

i know the injectors are not firing because the injectors are brand new and i pulled them after cranking for a little, and they are still brand new. not a drop of fuel on them. also, i got it to start while spraying starting fluid...

edit*

injectors are used, and the spark plugs are brand new. the spark plugs had no fuel on them.

I'm having the same problem on my FD, I just finished a jdm swap and I'm not getting fuel. Any help here would be appreciated...

mncarddealer post in the 3rd gen section you might get better help there it might be a different thing for each of you

are you sure you have spark? no CAS signal = no spark or injection

sen2two 05-22-2009 01:41 AM

i had the car start with starting fluid. so yeah, theres spark.

also, i checked the injector pins on the ECU plug. they have no power. so i checked the main relay and its fine. i was told to check the x-11 plug at the fuse box. but i have the RHD fuse box (i did a RHD swap including the engine and front body harness). so i dont know what else to check...???

lucky you! you get to follow the blk/yellow wire from the main relay (where it has power with the key on, right?) to the injectors, and then to the ecu

j9fd3s 05-22-2009 11:06 AM

in a US car, the power goes from the battery -> fusebox-> main relay-> under dash connector x15 (depends on the year, it changes names) -> injector -> ecu -> ground

no idea what it does in the JDM car, since the main relay is right next to the engine harness, it might be more direct?

so i might just check power to the injectors first. because if they have power, then its not the x-11 (or x-15 ect.) but if they dont have power. its definitly the plug. right?

could there be a ground i missed? i did swap all the harness' and it could be easy to forget one ground.

ecu grounds the injectors, i guess you could... the ground wire splits, its grounded to the ecu and the top of the engine.

but yeah, pull an injector plug, with it unplugged it'll have power on the b/y wire, other side should go to the ecu...

also this is kinda out there, but ive seen where the ect is broken, and instead of breaking and giving a cold reading and it wont run...
