Okay, now I'm fiddling with the idea of nitrous. How hard would it be to install the oxide system, and will stock fuel setups handle a 50, perhaps 75 shot of nitrous? Just curious as to the limitations of this, if anyone has done it. I'm just wondering if an upgrade to atkins 2mm seals, or even beefy 3mm seals would be advised for this? naturally, I'd make sure the ignition system was in perfect working order, as well as perfect fuel delivery. Oh, and some tips on how to do it properly would be a great help, thanks.

What kinda engine you got? And any other mods?

Actually, I'm doing a bunch of homework for an FC (technically my dream car anyway, the FD's, especially where I live, are rare and few between and scream STEAL ME :P)

Just trying to find out what engine would suit me the best for the mods I want to do. intake, exhaust, up the psi of a turbocharged engine, and the nitrous. That will be about it, or until I start spending insane amounts of money on other things like fuel tuning (note: In US, an Apex AFC costs $300, in Canada, that same item costs about $1200)

So, you could say I want to be restrained about getting HP.

Usually no one runs nitrous w/ turbocharged engines... I've heard its hard to control, as not only do you get the normal boost from the nitrous but the internal pressure form the turbo goes through the roof... Stock fuel system should be able to handle a 50 shot, but don't risk it, atleast get a bigger fuel pump; a walrbo...

If you want more power why not just crank up the boost?

there is no point in doing ****, also for a rotary in particular. The nitrous is going to be alot colder and its not really good for the engine because the apex seals are so exposed.

Okay, just curious about it. I have nitrous on my other car, and its a turbo also, so I was thinking maybe you could use something on a rotary. Guess not, well, not safely at least.

I only know of one guy on here that runs a basic 50 shot kit on his FC.. cant remember his name but if you search you should find the thread. I think the NA's are safe with a 50 as long as the fuel system is up to task. Everyone recommends the wet kits too. I think its NOS part # 5123.

I'm curious about NOS's new nitrous nozzles that piggy back on to stock injectors. I wonder if that would work with our cars... seems like a good concept for the right safe mix of gas and nitrous.

ive seen some nix on a fd. i would just go bigger turbo on a fc or fd though
