I just bought a nitrous setup with a 30 shot, and I am wondering if I can run this safely, and what else do I need to do to the car so that it will not damage anything?
I know there is a nitrous section on here, but I would like to know from first hand experience, and I know that what works for one with car, will not always work with another car. Thanks CHRIS |

If its a 30 shot dry you can run it no problems. I knew a guy with an 86 base auto and he was running a 30 shot no problems. It's not really that big of a jetting so its almost the equivalent of all the bolt ons and then some. But don't completely take what i have to say for truth, i may be wrong.

What kind of mods do you have? Clean the injectors to ensure they are working well, and a 30 shot dry should be ok.
As mentioned in the nitrous faq, the key is in the tuning. |

It's recommended to use a wet nitrous setup on rotary motors A person to ask about nitrous oxide would be Judge Ito...I bet he can help |
a 30 shot is barely anything though.

Hey man I was not looking to get my balls busted https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png , but I want that extra edge if I need it. It is a dry setup. And the mods that I have done to the car are: RB Header, Magnaflow High Flow cat, Borla Cat-Back exhaust, custom intake arm, and a ported throttle body with the mod done to it. Soon I will be taking the car over to Connecticut for kahren to have the car dyno tuned with the S-AFC for me.

Wet is superior, but with quality comes price. If all you can afford is a dry system, then a 30 shot is probably good. The faq says up to 50, but on the stock fuel system, you should probably leave a small safety margin.

Re: Nitrous
up to 125 hp wet, wet is always safer this on a street car so you can imagine what can you do on a race eng w/ 300++++ on nos
