Ok well i was reading about the 13 second N/A over at teamFC3S and he said he uses B10EG plugs in his car for racing and they worked wonders for him (see the topic here NGK B10EG in 13 sec N/A )

Now im changing my plugs on my car and since i dont feel like registering there i was hoping people had educated opinions on running those plugs.

If you go here: http://www.motorcycleproshop.com/det...oduct_id=B10EG it has a pic of the top of the plug, a short description, and the crazy low price for them (compared to ~$8 for stock ones)

He did mention they require finesse to get into the motor (thinner nut, cant use wrench, and close to housing, he uses needle nose pliers to tighten them the last bit) and that they're a hotter plug, but thats about it. He did mention a .4 second drop in E/Ts, a .3 second drop on his brothers car, and a .5 second drop on some other guys car...i dont expect that kinda crazy **** but any small improvement is fine for me (trying to get prepped for fall nationals this saturday)

so thoughts, comments?

Vosko, tell me why this guy is bullshit? I seriously want to know because I was considering testing out these plugs too.

I was going to say if they are hotter, it may help an NA but probably not a T2.

That guy only puts them in when he gets to the track he does not street drive with them.

I use 10's on my TII when I am racing. For the street I run 4 OEM 9's.

YOu need to take a sparg plug socket and grin down the end of it until its really thin and taper it out going back. It works great.

Do you really think that guy is full of it??

read his engine mods.

he says he has "4mm carbon apex seals", and his 1/4 mile time gained 6mph by him shifting 400rpm later.

that should suffice for now unless vosko feels like pointing out everything thats wrong with his post, let alone the lack of evidence, he was laughing like a mad man when i linked him to that guys post.

i was saying in general about the post... not just in regards to the plugs. i use stock plugs and never had a problem.... my T2 used to rev to 9k rpm clean
