ok, guide says to attach a vacuum line from the controller to the FPR vac souce. im thinking this could disrupt the signal getting to the FPR and is therefore bad. but my connections around the boost sensor where i hear most people are tapping it into are are already crazy. any ideas please?

what is wrong with the pressure sensor vac ? I use it for my avcr, haven't had a problem in 2 years.

What about the nipples on the tps side of the uim? The bottom one should work.

I presume the restrictor pill is in the hose near the pressure sensor, so you're good to go.

i'll check those nipples!

no restictor pill, and no problems either...where would i find one anyway?

The restrictor pill is not essential.

It buffers the pressure sensor from spikes during quick gear changes.

You can make one from a piece of plastic with a pin sized hole.

I wonder where those attachments came from?

The forum software is being "creative" - no worries..

i hooked it up to the top nipple pointing at the firewall on the uim, close to where the thottle body connects. am i ok with that?

SidewaysFC 12-31-2004 12:23 AM

my guess is not, cause it wont raise boost or have any effect with the gain knob. any ideas?
