Had this lying around and I was bored, so put them together, and you get this.

That pressure is when the car is off. At idle, it sits at 36-38 PSI.

glad to see you didn't put it in the people tank! Unless you use the 100$$$ isolator

Rotaryman88 09-21-2003 06:29 PM

Please tell me you are not leaving that gauge there,lol..

I completely forgot about that one too...anything else left over from the MR. 2?

roadkill669 09-21-2003 09:22 PM

Of course not. I just wanted to know what the factory level was. It will be placed in a gauge cup on the hood when I get the kit in, maybe. I'm afraid that I will look like a domestic, so I may get the guts built up and place it some where in the interior. Kinda fraid of that because I don't want to run a gas line in the interior. I'll figure something out.

Run the fuel into the car, y not...ur pump is in the interior and no longer protected by carpet/padding etc...whats another line..get some good SS line or something...i'm gonna run mine into the interior...

roadkill669 09-22-2003 10:05 AM

I may have to. But where can I put a 2 5/8" gauge?

That's what she said.

I will figure something out when I get home. I also need to build an engine brace before the race on Thursday. I know I will break something with that new clutch. Hell, I probally won't have any tires left either https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Rotaryman88 09-22-2003 10:31 AM

Tires are over-rated...lets go back to wood.

And I wouldn't worry about an engine brace, you'll need an engine "safety net"...catch the nuts and bolts as they drop off...oh yea, and a driveshaft hoop may be cool too.

roadkill669 09-22-2003 10:45 AM

I gotta build something. I haven't done anything for a while. I have to build something. Maybe a DS loop or something.

BigTurbo74 09-22-2003 12:54 PM

how bout cleanin that trash engine bay?

roadkill669 09-22-2003 01:27 PM

All in good time. I'm waiting untill the new motor is ready to be put in. Then when the old one is out, I'll clean it and repaint it. I want it to look nice when its all done.
