Well, for some reason i am getting the 3800 Rpm Hesitation in my car.

The engine is fresh rebuilt. I have not changed anything major in my car latly.. other than removing the power steering pump. What can i do to rid of the dreaded 3800 Hesitation

It's terrible.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

Duh, i am going to answer my own question...

At 3500-3800 Rpms. The computer tells the fuel pump to -UP- the pressure because the secondary injectors are about to come online... right at that moment there are a few things that can cause a hesitaion...

Bad grounds. (Add more engine to chassis Ground)

Starving for fuel.. sure your main fuel filter is clean. But have you ever changed your Intank Filter? I havnt

So i have come to believe that, when the pump increases pressure it cant pull it thru, because of a dirty in tank fuel filter. I will also add grounds, and pull my 5th and 6th ports out and grease them... Just because that has worked for other people too.

You don't have a filter on your intake? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

Oh, you just have not seen it lately with the stock airbox. J/K. LOL! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

No No No... your INTANK Fuel filter. most of these are like 15-16 years old, and they've never been changed. Sure we change out our main fuel filters with most regular tune up's.

But have you ever changed the fuel filter connected to your Fuel pump on the inside of your Gas tank.??
