I need to plug my antenna hole to keep rain out. What works? Should I just shove a cork in it and call it a day? Leave the penis jokes for another thread.
|
haha, i really was gonna say to use your penis but i wont bc you said not to, and it probably wouldnt block much of the hole anyway.
the cork idea would work, but for a more permanent fix try a bolt, a nut, a washer and a rubber gasket, or an antenna. |

No no no, no bolt and washer sticking out of your fender. Get a snap-in rubber grommet similar to the kind that they put in floor boards to allow easy draining if required. It might take a bit to find the right size one to work, but leave the bolts showing on fenders to the Honda ricers.
|
Well, the bolt/washer combo would work better than the duct tape I had on there before. The sun/rain ruined that, though.

epoxy putty then sand it to match and paint? it would take alot more work but it might look better...
|
some wide vinyl (electrical or striping tape ) would work
they even sell it in colors |
BUTT PLUG?
WHAT COLOT\R IS THE CART? |
i thought his car was gold?
black tape would do fine, cut in a nice circle before you put it on the car, thats if you cant find a nice plug for it |
What happened to the antenna?
I would just put the assembly back in until you found a replacement or have a body shop fix the hole, everything else is just a band-aid. |
thats actually a great idea, get one of those big bandaid patches, it should stick and it wont hurt the car when you take it off, ya know, cause theyre ouchless. kevin. |
Maybe get a "My child is an honor student at Leon County Juvenile Detention Center" sticker.
that's what I'm looking for, a band-aid. I just want to keep rain out. I'm not concerned with appearance. I took my radio and speakers out, so I put the functioning antenna into Edna's vert, which needed an antenna. (woops, this is Baldy) |

(woops, this is Baldy)
Just get one of those cool "support our troops" yellow ribbon magnets and stick it on there. Or you could go with the ol penor in the antenna hole trick  |
