how much more expensive would a 20b conversion be compared to a v8 conversion?

hard to say, but I can tell you that you can mail order a fully assembled and dynoed 450 horsepower small block for less then what a used 20B clip will cost you.

Double the HP, double the torque.

If all those hicks can do the small block swap, it cant be that hard or expensive.

There is a guy that shows up to the auto x here with a black V8 vert. I think he said he was making around 400 hp @ the flywheel. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

who can argue with that swap?

Aluminum heads and intake manifold to save weight, looks good to me!

pengaru 04-11-2003 06:47 PM

not me, looks pretty cool.

I'd probably do an LS1 if I went the v8 route though.

Rob x-7 04-11-2003 07:13 PM

LS1 is nice, but that carb set up is something you can do for well under $5000.

relisys190 04-11-2003 08:00 PM

Ok. That car would haul. I'm sure

but it's still not a rotary. Geez put that thing away before you knock someones eye out.

Well, get to it. You're not getting anything done typing on here. LOL!

I always wanted to swap in a LS1 and the 6 speed tranny. Cheap speed. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png

because you would want to make sure that such a exotic car retained

a engine from Mazda. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif
