I've got 6 bolts, 6 washers, 12 smaller washers, 12 spacers (that go between the pressure plate and flywheel) and 6 nuts.

How is this supposed to go together? this is for an '86 n/a.

what the hell kinda clutch you putting in your car? all i have ever used is 6 bolts with 6 lock washers , no spacers no extra parts.

i have used rb light flywheels , act flywheels, centerforce clutches, stock clutches, act clutches, bonze clutches, exedy clutches. and all have been the same. 6 bolts and washers.

I bought the whole package from mazdatrix.com, and the clutch itself has a racing beat sticker on it. The pressure plate is the "street/strip" plate, and the clutch plate is the "heavy duty s/s" clutch. Flywheel is 12 lb. aluminum.

as i remember the racing beat units used 2 londer bolts as starter bolts, and that was the only diffeance to the other units i have used. i didnt recall any spacers and to me that seams a little unsafe. i would call mazdatrix, talk to henry he should set you straight.

ive seen flywheels with the spacers, not 12 of them though

Yeah, I got the part with the 2 longer bolts. But I can hold everything in place, and it's obvious that it needs spacers, but I'm just not sure where to use all the washers. I'm just going to do this:

bolt, washer, pressure plate, spacer, flywheel, washer, nut.

um are the bigger washers for the counter weight bolts?

and i didnt know that the aluminum wheel used threw bolts . i thought they where all threaded holes?

thats what i would do. sounds like you've got too many warshers though

Well I put it all together like I said, let's hope it works out.

I can't remember if I used washers on the counter weight bolts, but I did use red loctite on those, and torqued it to what was on the sheet that came with it.
