Need help ID'ing parts
#11
yes i did, and all of the parts there were s5 that could be indentified visually. the majority of the internal engine parts and external bolt ons didnt change much visually between s4 and s5 so it would be very difficult to identify parts as s4 or s5. the major parts that changed visually were the intake manifold set, front cover, intermediate housing and oil metering pump. as for the rest of the parts any changes that were made were so subtle that you would need to compare it to a known series 4 or 5 part to distinguish any difference. Do any of the electronic bolt ons have N326 on them? that would make them s4 parts

N326 was the prefix to the part number for s4 NA parts. If you see this # on anything really it means its an s4 part, unless its a part that was unchanged between series. any mechanical engine parts are impossible to identify as the didnt change in appearance. the only parts that are easily identified as s4 or s5 are the intake manifold set, front cover, intermediate iron, water pump housing and oil metering pump. As i said before the one front cover is an s4. aslo does the water pump housing have 2 or 3 bolt holes to mount the upper neck? 2 holes is s4, 3 is s5
