looking for a constant 12v power source under the hood. its for the ignition system, so i cant have it turn off while cranking.

my battery is moved to the back, and i dont want to run the wire all the way back there...

any clue to where i can tap into for this constant 12v source under the hood?

I taped right to the ignition switch which in my opinion is the best bet. I know you can get it from the main relay but dont know which wire.

I use blue wire as a 12V ign switch since in radio wiring the blue wire is the turn on lead reminds me that all my blue wires are a 12V ignition switch

Ohh and off of the ignition switch it is the black/yellow

at the main fuze box on the drives side strut area. there is an open spot there or just use one of the bolts that holds the main fuze in with an eyelit for your wire.

i tryed using the main fuse bolts. couldnt close the cover on it after...so thats no good.

and i would rather not go all the way to the ignition to tap it.

you got 2 options 1 use one of the blank spots on the main fuse box you have to pull the plug out from underneath and insert a female quick disconnect connector in the empty plug hole and widen it so it can accept the male end on the fuse box. or 2 run a wire right from the starter main + other than that the only other option is to run a new wire from the battery to the front which is really easy. your best bet is the fuse box i will take a couple pics of what i was describing.

Here you can see the connector almost in your best bet is to widen it once it is in its easier to get in it needs to get all the way in

Attachment 18318

Here you can see the plug back on the main fues box.

then here you add the fuse for your new wire it is the third one up.
