Hey guys, I am swapping over to a TII motor from my N/A. I just finished building the short block and I'm starting to put back on the manifolds. I'll be running the 3" RB exhaust, so I want to ditch the solenoid rack. Can someone point me toward the S4 TII removal writeup?

As far as the twin scroll is concerned, how does it fuction?

if you look at the turbo, there are 2 inlets, mazda put a flapper door in the manifold that when its closed diverts all the exhaust into one of the inlets instead of both. the idea is to get more exhaust gas velocity into the turbine to spool it up quicker.

in reality the only thing it seems to do, with an open exhaust is make it go from "brrrrrrr" to "BAAAAAAAAA" @2700rpms when it opens

So should I remove the twin scroll? This is a ported motor running a 3.15" RB complete exhaust.
