Whats the back ground on that motor?

Top price id pay is 3500

evilT2 08-07-2003 12:19 AM

cheap ass

you can get at least 5 for that if youre not in a hurry

WishIhadaRX7 08-07-2003 07:36 AM

If the body and interior are in very good shape, you could prolly get ~7k

banzaitoyota 08-07-2003 08:24 AM

Whats the compression of the engine?

if you find some stupid rich kid

realisticly i would say about 5500 tops.

blue book is only ilke 3500 and throw in another couple grand for mods.

WishIhadaRX7 08-07-2003 09:12 AM

You wouldn't have to find some stupid rich kid if his car looked like this one: https://www.nopistons.com/forums/index.php?...showtopic=22795

Travisty 08-07-2003 09:26 AM

that car is also a series 5 with more mods and its white.

i could see that going for 7k.

i think the 10k thing is a little overboard.

it is a beautiful car though

WishIhadaRX7 08-07-2003 09:41 AM

I was saying that if the car is in excellent condition, he could get 7k for it, if it's what someone is looking for. I wouldn't spend that much, but then again I don't have that much to spend.....

Travisty 08-07-2003 09:58 AM

yeah the car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.

would i pay that much.

hell no

87BADASST2 08-07-2003 06:40 PM

the JDM motors NO ONE EVER KNOWS what kind of cond and mileage are on them. so that in mind would lower the value in my eyes. I would say 4500 tops

Apex13B 08-07-2003 07:48 PM

If it was a US-spec rebiuld i would buy it

I would by that S5 T2 for 9000-10,000

A new car on par with a t2 with those mods would cost 30K

1987rx7guy 08-07-2003 09:24 PM

WTF is wrong with you kids. 10k! wtf

No more than 6k no matter what. My friend sold his 91 with 34k miles on it for 6k you all are crazy.

donhayes 08-08-2003 04:40 AM

well your friend made a bad deal. He needs to learn how to sell a car. 6 grand for a 34 thousand mile car. What is he, a kid?

If he sold it for 6k, then there was A)body damage, B)interiror damage, C)engine damage, D)no mods, or E)a stupid owner who got about 4k less than he should have https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
