Im interested in how this is gonna work out too. If they get it all together, its gonna be an expensive kit... for not so great of gains.

I dont know much, but it is in the works. Probably a small to medium sized turbo to have virtually no lag. click this link to add suggestions, or see what info you can pry from Dave.

I'm surprised ppl are still catering to the fc market.

Still a half assed way to boost in my opinion. Just do it the right way.

Maybe half assed if your tryin to get 400 hp. But if your one of those guys that has a goor running N/A, good engine. And you dont want to swap in a TII, and have a goal of arround 200+ hp it may be perfect. Or in the future if you feel its not enough boost you can rebuild with TII or REW rotors, add TII trans.

Before there were Turbo II's they still had turbocharged rotaries.

Yup, the Cartech (or whatever name they went by) kits used to be the big thing back in the day. Nowadays it seems as if almost everyone thinks HKS and Greddy invented the turbo. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

If you want 200-240 hp on n/a, get nitrous. 10xx cheaper, if you know what you are doing + https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png Probably be easier to tune than a high compression turbo motor https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

Rob x-7 11-25-2003 07:21 PM

most TII guys are lucky to have 200whp anyhow, so whats the big deal

might as well tell someone who wants a 350hp TII to give it a 150Hp nitrous shot

and call it a day
