Let me start by saying dumb arse me, I know better.
I had to remove my flywheel while assembling the motor. When I reassembled, I forgot to put blue locktite on the threads. Simple question, its been running for a few days now ( and runs great.) Do I strip out the tranny and reinstall the nut with locktite, or just let it be? Any experience on this would be appreciated. |
One of my friends did not use locktite on his and its been fine ever since, but we did use an impact gun to tighten it.

Thanks guys, I have done countless engines and never forgot - until this one. I know that fudger is torqued to 350 ft lbs as I have a torque wrench that can handle that. This part I am clear on as my kid was holding the engine while I was torquing and the dumb arse wasnt paying attention and went flying as i put all 300lbs of me on the torque wrench. In hind site it was kind of funny https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
