I was planning on saving up for a T II but i am starting to think that i am just going to buy an N/A What would be a reasonable price to pay for a clean N/A?

It really depends man. I found a nice looking '86 n/a for 500 bucks. Just took a little work to get it running (200 bucks) and BAM!, a nice n/a for under 1000 dollars. I love it too.... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

Personally, I would pay up to $2,000 if it is very clean, and very low miles. But hey, I could probably find a damaged TII for less than that.

I paid 700 bucks for mine w/ 170,000 miles on it. Needed a waterpump and that was it...N/A's are usually cheap, unless they have REALLY low miles.

what about an S5 N/A how much would that cost? I am trying to check but cant find many in good condition.

a clean S5 with low miles could command 4-5K.

with more miles a bit less...

for instance...I have a 91n/a...130K on the odo...motor was rebuilt at 68K. runs perfect...had it for 5 years...I'd sell it for 3K.

thats about how much i was planning on spending anyways. i just decided i wanted something non turbo for reliability issues.

i just bought my 86 na 5 speed for $800 with 128k on the clock. tranny was rebuilt about 15k ago, but the engine runs great. interior was trashed though, and i'm planning on spending at least $500-$1000 on replacing it all. gonna rebuild and port it with my tax return.

hell i got my running 86 FC for free....but the OMP was broken, needed a thermostat, needed a waterpump, needed oil pan gasket, needed new oil cooler lines, and needed a new clutch for my belt driven fan....but damn was she a deal!!! i saved loads of money since i did all the work myself

I bought my auto 88 SE for $550 then when the auto tranny broke I bought the 86 Sport for $300 with a bad motor now the 86 has the 88 motor and I have a parts car all for $850 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

BTW: the 86 was in perfect body condition.
