I have a 87 turbo II that i bought a year ago... the problem with the car is once you start the car it cuts off, i will stay started if u keep your foot on the gas.. after a while the engine idles find and runs great.. but once the cars been idling for about 15-20 min the engine shuts off and the car wont start again until its sets for an hour or so.. then its starts all over again with it not staying on... any one have any ideal whats wrong???? or any suggestions?? i've checked for vaccum leaks, change oil, filters, plugs everything... cant find the problem..

Fuel pump? bad grounds? semi-clogged cat?

its not a fuel pump.

Let me try to organize your problem.

Car doesnt start without you giving it gas.

Car doesnt idle when cold unless you continue to give it gas.

After a while of doing that the car will idle.

After idling for 15-20 minutes it will then die.

Repeat this process over again.

is that the line of events?

Well i doubt its a vacuum leak, not the fuel pump either (unless its some freaky weird once in a chance problem).

Do you have emissions equipment on your car? How about all the idle quality controls (BACV, blah blah blah)

Is there anything at all done to your car?

could be a bad primary injector. I wouldnt rule out a vacuum leak though. Pressure check the intake system by blocking off the turbo inlet. Then take one of the vacuum lines thats easily accessable and blow into it. Should know right away if air is escaping somewhere.
