here you go, next mod is a custom rad. shroud
|
looks good!
I was thinking of reinstalling my e fan but using it with a modified stock shroud |
That looks money.
Question: On the e-fans, it only kicks on when you are at idle right? Or does it constantly run while driving? And does the whole stock shroud and rad fan run at idle only/neutral, or when driving? Sorry for the newbie questions, never really got around to asking them. |
really the noly time you would prob. need the efan is at idle... and i'm not sure but i think that they just turn on with an on/off switch...(thats how i woulda done it at least)
|
I have my efan set to run all the time, why risk it? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

most e fans run on a temp switch. when the coolant hits a cirtian temp, the fan kicks on, no matter if its idleing or cruising.
|
yea but where do he/she tap in to mount a temp switch..
|
If they use a Flex-a-lite Black Magic 150, there is a sensor that you simply slip between the fins on the radiator. When the sensor gets hot, the fan turns on. Also there is a wire that you tap into the AC clutch. When the AC is turned on, the fan comes on. If it is not a Flex-a-lite fan, electronic stores sell thermo switches cheap. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

yea i just run the stock fan set up it seems to work fine for me
