This is what I did does it sound like a decent plan?

1 I ran new -6an hard lines from the tank forward.

2 I removed the banjo bolts from the primary rail to to tap for -8an fittings. I started drilling and couldn't stop myself I went all the way through. This opened it up to 27/64 " I think.

3 Removed banjo bolt from feed sid of secondary rail and opened that up past first injector. ( I'm going to see if a machinist friend of mine can drill the rest of it from the other side)



I have kept the stock config of feeding the secondary rail from the primary. I was thinking of keeping the stock regulator for a while.

I am going to use a Marren pulse damper. I was thinking of using a fuel preasure gauge adapter on the exit of the primary rail and connecting the damper there. Does the damper work better if its port is facing into the fuel flow (like stock ) ?

I changed to -8an after the filter because I started second guessing myself on my choice of the -6an from the tank forward. this way I only need to redo the hard line if I was wrong. After seeing the size of the holes in the banjo bolts I'm thinking -6an should flow much better than stock.

I'll answer my own post. I hope it helps somebody. If you try this use straight cut -an adapters if you tap them to npt you may break your fuel rail. If I can find another one I'll let you know hoe it goes with straight cut threads. If I can't find one I'll order some fuel rail stock and start from scratch.
