as most of u know i hit a tree. well now i have to cut the front braces of that are in front of the radiator. yesterday i cut off the top brace cuz it was puting a bit of pressure on the shroud and fan. i mentioned it today to one of my friends and he was like do u still have ur strut tower brace on and i was like no and he was all freakin out like man u gota keep that on there if u cut the brace of cuz ur frame will warp if there is a drop in temp( as in since it is like an "H" each side where the fenders are will twist or one fender will be higher than the other). but i still have the main circular brace at the lower part connected and i dont think i'm gonna remove that until im completely ready for the swap. i didnt really beleive him but it got me a little worried. so is this trueor am i straight until i do the swap which will happen within the next month most likely since i dont really have the resources otherwise i'd be working on it everyday..

just tack a piece of angle across the front end to maintain alignment

what top brace? the radiator support?
I find it hard to understand what it is your trying to describe maybe take the car to a body shop and let them put it on a frame machine for you and do thier thing |
