hey, umm im new haha, i just bought a 1988 mazda rx7 10 anniversary model for 11500 and it has about 36000 worth of upgrades to it. so heres what i have. (tell me what ya think!)

it looks to be in pretty good shape, but i agree with baldy, loose the underhood panelling. Some of the interior trim should be re-painted silver if you want to stick with that color scheme, and im not personally a fan of the color/vinyls on the outside either. Also, from a distance, i like the smoothing over the trim pieces, but up close it looks a little rough, especially around the side signals.
Do you have any pictures at night with the whole interior lit up? Id like to see how the LEDs in the vents came out. On a car with this amount of work (and that cost that much.. 11K damn!), better switches could have been used below the radio. edit: oh, and TFATF? no... hahah |

I dont mean to call you out but I dont see half the stuff listed under engine mods under the hood! And I dont know to many people running 22psi on stock top mounts! other then that welcome to the forum.

Not to knock on anyone but that car has nowhere $36,000 in mods. And for $11.5 K it better have a 20B under the hood. Dont get me wrong car looks nice(cept for the dimondplate) but that motor cept for the air filter looks like a stock motor. I see no Greddy pully kit, Greddy belt Kit, It has a stock radiator not a fluidyne, there is no visable ram air intake setup, and doubt you are running 22 psi on a TMIC sorry man wrong place to make stuff up.

ok so i email the guy and tell him how im skepitcal and this is what he tells me. OK buddy let get this straight right now,!!!! i painted the pullies black cause i wanted to make it look more stock, the intercooler was custom ordered to look and function like the stock one, but the core is thicker, same with the rad my friend has a rad shop and we took at fluidyne rad, cut the core out an put my factory end tanks on because the fluidyne takes where to big an couldnt fit it in the car, an u cant see the ram air itake cause its under the diamond plate, and most of the work to the motor was internal cause thats where the power is made, also u cant see the fuel injectors becasue they are under the the intake man which is under the intercooler, and im not making **** up, something u should learn from all car forums everyone on those forums always take **** cause the try to ruin **** for other ppl cause it makes them feel good and ppl cant do **** to them cause they can hide them selfs,
so please dont waste my time cause im not wasting yours, and the reason i wanted the enigne to look more stock is for the whole ' its all looks but no go' and it has a **** load of go' so let me know now whats going on, if u come done here ill show u that its has a **** more go then any other stock rx7 i can get one of my buddies to bring his 7 here and u can go for a ride and that and then mine and then u will see! |

i was thinking about getting it dynoed but there is no dyno close by :( so w.e it was the only descent rx7 around for sale but im not going to get it because the seller is ******* retarded instead im gonna go give this other guy 5 grand for a mint 89 mustang gt cobra with saleen headers, and valves, with 3.73 gears, a cold air intake, flowmaster 3" exhaust and a tripleplate centerforce racing clutch, cd player, 2007 shelby cobra gt rims accel wires and distributer.

if u look closly it has s4 na mirrors on it! its prolly a na with a t2 motor swap, then also it has a jdm t2 gauge cluster, so who knows if its real t2 or not... |
I would just stay away from the simple fact it is ugly!
I think the 36k in mods is the labor price the seller paid to do all the whacky stuff to the car. |

I don't really wanna cut you up or anything, but seriously man that is possibly the ugliest FC i've ever seen. Those vinyls are just pure ****, not only that the diamond plate is just stupid...if anything wouldn't it stop some of the heat from escaping.
And russian7, that is byfar the most amazing FC I have ever seen...and I went through RE-Amemiya's entire gallery. |
