Ran this at dyno comp about a week ago.
To give you a more detailed idea of what I have; 720/550 Injectors Rtek 1.7 2x380cc additional injectors HKS AIC T04b (undivided) .60/.81 Early open street port on secondaries 80mm downpipe/resonator Apexi dual n1 exhaust Stock IC Manual Ball-Spring boost controller This is at ~7-9 psi.. |
Kind of hard to read, but it looks like your around 260whp right?
That seems very optomistic for a stock intercooler...but either way, good job! Looks like keeping the boost lower at around 9psi for the stock IC let you get some good numbers... no go FMIC and 11psi and you should be running up to 280s! |

It was 273 rwhp...and thats an electric inertia dyno, not a dyno jet so thats a good reading...
Nah...front mount is the normal way to go. I gotta be different. I'm gonna do water injection and convert the stock IC into a water/air IC. I've actually got it tuned for about 16 psi now....probably makin 350 when the IC is cold. Ill hit up the dyno again after I get the IC done. |
So you are running 16psi right now w/ a stock TMIC? Or your GOING to run 16psi w/ the air/water IC? The air/water IC is cool, but why not locate it away from the engine...even if you put it on the turbo side, piping would be minimal. Another member here put his in front of the engine, pretty clean....

Revvin why did you quote me on your reply... are you saying that its not good to put the ic in front of the engine? I'm confused, lol..what did my post have to do w/ 100c IT @ 16psi ???

soooo you only have 50hp at 3000rpm, and 75hp at 3500rpm?
definitely sounds like a nice setup, im sure you have tons of fun driving it. Also i wouldnt try pushing 16psi through the stock TMIC, unless you have an external source of cooling that IC. kevin. |
