https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I just did a compression test on my motor, I got a little over 70 on the front rotor and 80 - 85 on the front but the engine was cold. i'm going to warm the engine up and try again a little later, What should I see as far as numbers are concerned? I called rotary resurrection yesterday and the mechanic told me any thing over 90 for a rebuild is pretty decent(he really helped clear allot of misconceptions up for me). If you guys could give me some base line numbers I would really appreciate it. THANKS for the help.

how many miles on it? if it's just rebuilt it'll take a few thousand miles before it reaches it's peak.
warm, with the throttle full open. a broken in, brand new engine should see around 120psi. |
I had 85 psi after 2 miles on my last rebuild. Ill check it again when I hit 1000 miles next week...

It's got 3000 since the rebuild, is that enough time or should i wait till 4000 or 5000. I haven't tried it warmed up yet thats later on today. Its not new its rebuilt, how much of a difference is that going to make? thanks for the reply.

Yours should be higher.
